MLK DAY OF LEARNING

Gather with participants from throughout Franklin County for this free Day of Learning to dive into principals and issues surrounding diversity, equity, inclusion, community-building, and social cohesion. The day will feature an Adult Track, a Children's Track (grades 1st-5th), and a Youth Track (grades 6th-12th), so people of all ages can turn the MLK Day national holiday into a Day of Learning.

MLK Day of Learning is FREE for all to attend, but advanced registration is required. View more details, the event schedule, and sign up by clicking the "Register" buttons below.

    For grades 1st-5th (Kindergarteners with older siblings attending are welcome). Full day and half day (morning/afternoon) registration available.

    For grades 6th-12th. Full day and half day (morning or afternoon) registration available.

Interested in performing service projects? Check out MLK Day of Service, coordinated by Franklin County Coalition for Progress. You can participate in a service project during the morning for Day of Service, then attend Day of Learning for the lunch/afternoon session. Simply select the half-day afternoon session option when registering with us, and make sure you also register for the MLK Day of Service.
